Mario joined the Valley Partners team in April of 2012 as a loan officer.  He graduated in May of 1986 from Kent State University earning an associate degree in Applied Business Management Technology. Mario is a lifelong resident of Lowellville, OH where he resides with his wife of 41 years, Denise. They are the proud parents of four children Melissa, Tami, Amanda & Mario, Jr. Mario & Denise are also proud grandparents of 10 grandchildren who they love spending time with and watching grow.

Bringing nearly 30 years of financial experience to the Valley Partners team, Mario previously worked in banking as Branch Manager & Commercial Loan Officer for a few local banks. Mario joined the team because Valley Partner’s mission of assisting small business is the type of work he loves to do. Raised as the son of a self-employed tailor in the valley, he developed a passion for small businesses at an early age. Having seen his father struggle from time to time with finances, he took an interest in banking, especially on the small business side.  When he isn’t working, Mario enjoys spending time with his wife, children & grandchildren as well as playing golf with his friends.

Maureen Stenglein has been with Valley Partners since September 2020 when she joined the team as a Portfolio Manager and has recently become our SBA lender.  She attended YSU majoring in Fine Arts Theatre/Music, but her career path changed when she found her passion for lending and finance.  Maureen has been in the finance industry for 24 years, on both the consumer and business sides.

Maureen has been married for 20 years and is the mother of two children, Shannon (16) and Brendan (10).  She also has two dogs Dutch and Sophie.  Maureen loves watching her son play flag football and her daughter cheer for her school and competitive cheer team.  Her hobbies include cooking and being entertained by her little Frenchie Sophie who is very vocal and dramatic while Maureen is on Zoom calls.

Greg is a lifelong area resident of Poland, OH and has been working for Valley Partners for over 25 years.  He graduated with honors from Youngstown State with a bachelor's degree in Accounting in 1978 and earned his CPA in 1986.

Greg wears many hats in his position, handling accounts payable and receivable, employee payroll, budgeting, and creating financial statements.

Wendy is a lifelong resident of Trumbull County and resides in Cortland. She has worked in the banking industry for 34 years as well as in the public sector as an Income Tax Administrator. She was previously employed with Home Savings Bank and began her career in Retail banking before moving into lending with a concentration in Construction Lending and Commercial Lending where she spent most of her career. She also co-owned and managed Jim Walters Construction, Inc for twenty-five years. 

Wendy joined Valley Partners in 2015 as the Office Manager and moved into the role of Loan Servicing Director in 2019. Wendy manages the servicing of Valley Partners loan portfolio and is the Closing analyst for SBA 504 and 7A loans. The opportunity to be a team member and part of such a great mission here at Valley Partners to help small business entrepreneur’s reach their dreams and goals is very rewarding for her.

During non-working hours, she loves spending her time outdoors, beautifying and remodeling the exterior and interior of her home, traveling, and enjoys every sport imaginable. Wendy loves spending lots of time with her sons (Jake and Justin), daughter-in-law (Jacki) and grandson (Tripp), family and friends.

Julie was brought to the VP team in November of 2019.  She currently holds the Trust Manager and Office Manager positions.  She grew up in Berlin Center and currently resides in Canfield with her daughter, Lilly (7).  She enjoys church, caring for her grandmother, spending time with family and friends, exercising, and reading.  They are involved in and attend Old North Church in Canfield. 

She has a well-versed background working in office settings for over 20 years covering human resource, safety, IT, customer service, several computer programs and much more.  She has an associate degree from Kent State University in Computer Business and certifications in Human Resources.

As the Office Manager and Trust Manager Julie takes care of the office needs and assists all current and upcoming borrowers with their payments.

Madison is the newest member of the Valley Partners team, joining in October of 2021 after completing her internship here.  She graduated from YSU in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing.  She is a resident of Hubbard, OH and graduated from Hubbard High School.

In her free time, Madison enjoys going to local coffee shops and restaurants, spending time with family and friends, and traveling to find sunny weather.  

Although she is new to her role, she is eager to learn as much as she can and is excited to be a part of helping small businesses thrive and succeed.  She wants to contribute toward helping people achieve their dreams.

Cassie Wyatt joined the Valley Partners team in September of 2021 filling the newly created role of Business Coach.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude in December 2021 from Youngstown State University earning a bachelor’s degree in General Studies with a concentration in Business and Communication.  Cassie is a lifelong resident of Trumbull County and currently resides in Hubbard Twp with her husband Shane and children Sydney (18) and Seth (15).  They also have three rescue dogs: Daisey (7), Bear (4), and Rudy (2). 

Bringing nearly 20 years of financial experience to the Valley Partners team, Cassie previously worked in banking as Branch Manager with TCF/Huntington Bank. Cassie joined the team because Valley Partner’s mission as a non-profit aligns with the type of work she wants to do. Cassie likes to spend her free time fostering dogs, having fostered over 30 dogs in the last four years.  When she isn’t working, Cassie enjoys remodeling and renovating her home with her husband.
